National Speaker Addresses Healing a Divided Nation

Maryl Walters
Maryl Walters, a member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship and an interfaith activist, will present her free inspirational and practical lecture, After an Election: Healing and Unifying Power of Divine Love, at 2 p.m. on January 15 at the Christian Science Society of Bonita Springs. The 40-plus-year practitioner of Christian Science healing helps solve personal and national problems through talks and workshops across North America and writing for the Christian Science Sentinel and the Christian Science Monitor.
“We look forward to learning how prayer can be powerful and effective in healing divisions and bringing families and communities together,” says David Hall, president of the Bonita Springs Christian Science Society.
“It is time to come together as Americans and heal the divisions that have occurred,” says Walters, who has a master’s degree in theological studies and participates in Christian-Jewish and Christian-Muslim dialogues sponsored by the National Council of Churches. “Attendees will learn we can all experience the power of divine love and trust that the government is in God’s hands.”
